Antenna Performance Analysis Tool

This tool enables ham radio operators to evaluate antenna performance using real-world WSPR data, supporting targeted antenna optimizations for more effective communication.

By mapping when and where transmitted signals are received, the tool provides operators with a clear view of their station’s coverage and effectiveness across different times and frequency bands.

The analysis brings together a large amount of reception data so operators can see how their antennas actually perform over time. This helps overcome the limits of traditional modeling and measurement.

See some examples: F4WFX - N6IMY - M0MBO.

How to analyse my antenna?

This service analyses your antenna’s performance using WSPR data. Please transmit using WSPR for at least 24 hours to account for variations in propagation throughout the day and night.

After the WSPR network has gathered sufficient data, return to this page to run the analysis.

For optimal results, transmit your WSPR signal at less than 1 watt. If your rig is set to 100 watts, use the slider on the right side of your WSJTX main window to adjust the power. The table below will help you set the transmit power slider.
